How To import Mi Notebook Air/Pro from China to India?
Numerous people want to be launched in India because of its cheap pricing and awesome features. And Recently Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4 in India but currently, they’re not in the mood of launching Mi Notebook in India.
Mi Notebook is not only famous in India. Actually, people from all around the world want to buy it because All Variant of Mi Notebook Series comes with a premium-looking all-metal design with sleek bezels. Especially, the new Mi Notebook Pro is a gorgeous laptop with a MacBook-inspired design, allegedly superior performance, and it packs all the necessary ports including two USB-A, two USB-C, full-size HDMI, and an SD card slot. Most impressively, it comes in at well under half the price for a comparably specced model.
Steps to Import Mi Notebook from China:-
1. Place Order:
You Can Place the order for Mi Notebook from any international shopping website of your choice but I would recommend you to buy it from Gearbest or Bangood because Mi Notebook is a costly product. Note: I haven’t imported Mi Notebook instead I imported T-Bao X8S Notebook. But, You can follow this process to import any Laptop.

2. Shipping Method:
You should choose EMS or DHL because You cannot take the risk by choosing Economy or Registered Air Mail. And, Also don’t forget to add shipping insurance. Shipping insurance will cost you few extra dollars but It’ll also add an extra layer of security to your package. Note: I opted for the EMS Shipping and I’ve received my product in 25 days.

3. Customs Duty:
Customs duty/Import Fee on Laptop is 41% in India. If You’ll select DHL(or any private courier service) then they will take care of the customs process on behalf of you but they’ll add extra charges for that. Once the laptop reaches India, Their custom clearance team will contact you to know your AADHAAR Card Number and also confirm that you will pay the customs fees or not. After the customs process, they will deliver your product to your doorstep.
But as I mentioned above, I opted for EMS. Unlike Private Courier service neither they called me about customs duty nor sent me a letter. And, Surprisingly I’ve received my T-Bao X8S Notebook without customs duty in India. I don’t know how it’s possible but you can read “How To import Product Without Paying Custom Duty in India?” article for more detail.
